I recently took a trip to Philadelphia, my first visit. And I have to say that without a doubt I was completely blown away. I had NO idea how wonderful and beautiful a city it is. Why is this such a secret?! It’s walkable, transit is great, amazing and quirky museums and don’t forget FOOD! I was treated so graciously and hospitably. I MUST return. We had dinner at XIX, lunch at Tinto, cheese steak in South Philly and we even rode the duck with the outrageous Captain Dale!

 

We didn’t miss the obvious: the home of our democracy. Independence Hall is inspiring. The never Independence Visitor’s Center is beautiful. And how can you not be moved by the Liberty Bell?
