I have been reading the writings of Thomas Merton since I was a teen. He has a way of inviting me back to re-read what he has to say. There is a timeless quality to his books, because I addresses basic truths.

I was so inspired by the idea that we are “walking around shining like the sun” that I felt the need to get the word out. But the paradox is that “there is not way of telling people” and so I’ll just write. I’ll tell stories. I’ll show pictures. And maybe someone will wake up to this beautiful reality. Maybe I’ll wake up, too!

And so you see this web page. How do you shine like the sun? Just be your self. Your True Self. Not the image you project to the world, but the essence of who you are at the very core of your being. It’s so simple and sometimes so impossible challenging. And yet, so simple. But I can’t tell you this. You have to discover this truth for yourself.
